Program Description

We have structured a comprehensive fellowship to prepare you for a career in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery. Fellows will have extensive training in corneal transplantation, kerato-refractive surgery, corneal dystrophies and degenerations, anterior segment tumors, trauma, and reconstruction, and a broad range of infectious and immunologic disorders of the cornea and ocular surface. Exposure to active laboratory and clinical research is available. Fellows are given a Washington University faculty appointment with teaching and patient care responsibilities. This program requires a 'Restrictive Covenant' limiting the geographic options for future practice.
