Intraocular lens implants
Dr. Lubniewskis research interests have included the design and use of intraocular lens implants following complicated cataract surgery and trauma. He participated in the Veteran's Affairs cooperative cataract studies. He has taken part in the Phase II Trials characterizing the NEI Vision Function Questionnaire and helped define the effect of Dry Eye on patient's activities of daily living. Other clinical interests include the study of Toxic Endothelial Cell Destruction following anterior segment surgery for cataract, glaucoma, or trauma.
