- Hemorrhagic Complications of Oculoplastic Surgery (P Custer, J Shepherd, K Trinkaus) Prospective study of 1,500 consecutive oculoplastic procedures on 1,300 patients over a 5-year period in order to determine the incidence of and risk factors for hemorrhagic complications as well as factors affecting the severity of post-operative bleeding and bruising. - Ocular Vasculitis Current Rheumatology Reports. 5(2):100-6, 2003 Apr. A review of the most common ocular syndromes seen in systemic vascular diseases with special attention given to the signs that may be appreciated by non-ophthalmologists. Recent concepts of ocular immunologic therapy are also reviewed, especially as they relate to the use of systemic immunomodulating agents.
