 rd.</p><p>Join us for the Winston Fellow Competition on Thursday\, May 29\,
  at Connor Auditorium\, where ITVS Pathway students will compete live for t
 he $5\,000 Winston Fellow Award.</p><p>Postdoctoral finalists—selected by a
 bstract submission—will present their research during the <a href="https://
 ophthalmology.wustl.edu/calendar/event/special-vision-research-forum-winsto
 n-fellow-postdoctoral-presentations/">Vision Research Forum on Friday\, May
  16.</a></p><p>All presentations will be judged on scientific merit by a pa
 nel of faculty judges. The winners of both the student and postdoc Winston 
 Fellow Awards will be announced on Thursday\, May 29 at a reception that wi
 ll begin at 5:15 pm in the FLTC Atrium.</p><p class="disclaimer" data-start

 establish the Winston Fellow Award in the Department of Ophthalmology and V
 isual Sciences.</p><p class="disclaimer">This unique award will support gra
 duate students who are receiving specific training in vision science throug
 h the Interdisciplinary Training in Vision Sciences Pathway. The overall go
 al of the program is to attract a group of gifted\, well-trained biomedical
  scientists to careers in vision research to continue unlocking the mysteri
 es of eye disease.</p></div>
