Inaugural Gordon-Losos Award Lectureship

An Inaugural Lectureship series hosted by Jeff Gordon and Jonathan Losos to welcome, from Michigan State University, Richard E. Lenski, PhD, the John A. Hannah Distinguished Professor of Microbial Ecology. This is a two-day event hosted both on WashU Medicine’s Campus on Monday, October 20, and day two is hosted at the St. Louis Zoo, inside The Living World – on October 21st, 2025. Both events included lectures from Lenski who will be discussing the predictability of evolution and concepts of experimental evolution. Lenski is known for his ongoing 35-year E. Coli evolution experiment and is a member of the National Academy of Sciences.

Lenski will be awarded a shadowbox and a reception will follow both events.
