Why did you choose Ophthalmology and your specialty?
I am a third generation Ophthalmologist, so Ophthalmology was as easy as breathing! I love cornea because you can profoundly impact a patient’s quality of life and vision with new and inventive surgeries and technology.
Why did you choose WashU?
I have always lived in the Midwest and it feels like home! The Cornea faculty were very warm and inviting.
Favorite memory of your residency?
I am so grateful for my co-residents, who have become my best friends and support system.
What did you learn in your residency that impacted you the most?
Not sure.
How did you survive during quarantine?
Netflix and wine!
What excites you most about starting your fellowship at WashU?
I am looking most forward to working with the residents and faculty and exploring a new city.
What do you look forward to about living in St. Louis?
Trying all the new food!
