Favorite memory of Medical School?
Beating Ohio State at home in 2021! Go Blue.
Favorite memory of your intern residency year?
Doing my first intravitreal injection and laser peripheral iridotomy at the VA.
Why did you choose Ophthalmology?
The blend of delicate surgery and developing long-term relationships with patients. Also, I think ophthalmology is the best specialty for global health impact.
Why did you choose WashU Medicine?
The family-like feel of the department during my interview and second-look day was unmatched anywhere else. In combination with the top-notch research and clinical facilities, it was a no-brainer!
What do you like most about St. Louis?
The parks! Running and exploring all of the free events in Forest Park and Tower Grove Park, and exploring new restaurants with my husband.
What are you most looking forward to during your residency?
Developing my surgical skills and hanging out with my awesome co-residents.
