The delicious lunches provided during our inpatient rotations

Why did you choose Ophthalmology?

Ophthalmology was the only specialty that gave me the fulfillment and happiness I desired in my future profession. I knew it was a specialty that I could wake up every morning and look forward to going to work for the rest of my life.

Why did you choose WashU?

The collegiality among staff, residents, and attendings.

How did you survive during quarantine?

I learned to cook and started my own foodstagram.

What are you most looking forward to during your residency?

Growing in my ophthalmology training and spending time with my colleagues.

What are you not looking forward to during your residency?

Getting lost in the hospital
