Baylor College of Medicine

Favorite memory of Medical School?

My favorite memory of medical school was attending our 12 days celebration, which is a Baylor tradition where students perform shows and create funny videos. The whole school gathers to watch, and it’s a great time!

Favorite memory of your intern residency year?

My favorite memory of intern year was gathering at Art Hill in Forest Park to meet my co-interns for the first time!

Why did you choose Ophthalmology?

I chose Ophthalmology because it integrates two things I love-surgery and medical management of chronic diseases. This nature of the field allows you to forma long-lasting relationships with patients.

Why did you choose WashU?

I chose WashU because it provides excellent clinical and surgical training while also fostering collaborative and family-friendly feel and culture.

How did you survive during quarantine?

The peloton app! Moving my body was my favorite time of the day!

What are you most looking forward to during your residency?

I am most looking forward to learning and perfecting my surgical skills over time and seeing how far I have come!

What specialty are you most interested in?

Oculoplastics!
