Exploring all of Houston’s coffee shops with classmates who have become lifelong friends

Favorite memory of your intern residency year?

Attending the medicine and ophthalmology holiday parties with the best group of co-residents!

Why did you choose Ophthalmology?

So many reasons, but ultimately because it is incredibly impactful, elegant, and innovative!

Why did you choose WashU?

The culture and community at WashU just seemed so incredibly supportive for such a busy, high volume program! Even from behind the Zoom screen, I could see how close and happy all the residents and faculty were.

How did you survive during quarantine?

Many walks, bouldering sessions, new recipes, and virtual game nights

What are you most looking forward to during your residency?

Acquiring the skills to become an ophthalmologist alongside the most caring, hard-working, and fun co-residents I could have asked for!

What are you not looking forward to during your residency?

Saturday call shifts

I’m not sure yet!
