Members of the WashU Medicine John F. Hardesty, MD Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences recently participated in the American Academy of Optometry meeting, presenting their work and connecting with colleagues from across the vision science community.
The meeting provided an opportunity for members of the department to share their research and engage with other leaders and professionals in the field. The department also took the opportunity to bring together current and former residents for a special gathering during the meeting.
“We also had a get together with all of our past and current residents, which was fantastic!” said Jordan K. Jones, OD, FAAO.
The gathering provided an opportunity for current residents and alumni to reconnect, strengthen professional relationships and celebrate the community that continues to grow within the department.
