Favorite memory of Medical School?

Enjoying amazing BBQ (and learning how to fly a plane!)

Favorite memory of your intern residency year?

Exploring the city, trying new restaurants, going to the World Cup game, and hanging out with my awesome co-residents!

Why did you choose Ophthalmology?

I chose ophthalmology because I wanted a specialty where I could make a tangible difference. Restoring vision changes lives, and I love that ophthalmology allows me to have that impact both locally and globally.

Why did you choose WashU Medicine?

WashU Medicine felt like home from the moment I interviewed. The people were welcoming, the training is outstanding, and being in St. Louis was especially meaningful because my fiancée is from here

What are you most looking forward to during your residency?

I’m most looking forward to becoming a skilled ophthalmologist while learning from incredible mentors. I’m also excited to continue building friendships with my co-residents!
