On Wednesday, Sept. 9, members of the local chapters of the Knights Templar will visit the labs at McDonnell Sciences at WashU Medicine to meet with Wei Li, PhD, and Qian Wang, PhD, and learn more about their vision research.
The visit comes following a recent grant awarded to Li by the Knights Templar Eye Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting research and education aimed at preventing and treating diseases that affect vision. The grant provides valuable support for Dr. Li’s research and reflects the foundation’s ongoing commitment to advancing discoveries that may ultimately benefit patients with eye diseases.

During their visit, the Knights Templar will have the opportunity to tour the laboratories, meet with members of the research team and learn more about how scientific discoveries made in the laboratory can contribute to a better understanding of eye disease and potential new treatments.
