Welcome! Ashley Ahlbrand, OD, our very first Resident of Optometry.
Dr. Ahlbrand graduated with her Doctor of Optometry from Midwestern University-Chicago College of Optometry in May of 2022.
She will complete a one-year residency program with DOVS focusing on Ocular Disease and Specialty Contact Lenses.
As a resident optometrist, she will see patients with the staff and faculty optometrists and shadow in the subspecialty clinics.
I am originally from upstate NY and completed optometry this May at Midwestern University- Chicago College of Optometry. My husband and I recently moved to Ballwin with our black-lab puppy, Moose. I enjoy hiking, biking, running and wineries/breweries! I’m thrilled to be the first optometry resident at WashU and can’t wait to meet everyone in person! Please say hi if you see me, I’ll be bouncing around between the COH, West County, and South County offices.
