Jennifer Enright, MD, PhD

Assistant Professor, Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences

We are pleased to welcome Jennifer Enright, MD, PhD to our team of Cornea Faculty.

Jennifer Enright, MD, PhD recently completed her Cornea and External Disease Fellowship at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.

Dr. Enright completed her medical degree and ophthalmology residency at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis. After her residency she served as our Chief of Ophthalmic Trauma, working in our resident clinic, University Eye Center, and instructing our trainees. We are excited to welcome her back.

Interestingly, neither Jenny nor I had any particular inclination towards Ophthalmology when we first applied to medical school. But our years in lab convinced us both to spend our clinical careers helping patients preserve their sense of sight. I was fortunate again to work with Jenny when she started her Ophthalmology Residency at WashU in 2018, and for the past three years, I’ve watched her grow into an exceptional clinician, researcher, and leader.
