Call for Abstracts: Winston Fellow Award 2025

Apply Now for the Winston Fellow Award for Postdoctoral Fellows

The Winston Fellow Award Program recognizes outstanding contributions to vision science.

Award Selection

  • Any postdoc conducting vision science research can apply.
  • Selected finalists will present at the Vision Research Forum on Friday, May 16, 2025.
  • The winner of the $2500 postdoc award will be announced at the Winston Fellow Competition on Thursday, May 29, 2025.

Submit an abstract (maximum 250 words) that addresses:

  • Background/rationale
  • Results
  • Conclusions

Deadline to apply: Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

The ITVS Pathway overcomes boundaries between disciplines to develop a unique set of basic science, translational and professional skills that will position students to produce transformative breakthroughs in vision science.

Students enrolled in the Interdisciplinary Training in Vision Science (ITVS) Pathway are eligible to compete for the $5000 Winston Fellow Award for graduate students.
